What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

Health Connect and Health Data

Cardiogram may access, read, and write health and fitness data through Health Connect when you explicitly grant permission.

The health data accessed by Cardiogram may include:

• Heart rate measurements

• Heart rate workout sessions

• Exercise and workout information related to heart rate monitoring

Cardiogram uses this data solely to provide the app’s core functionality, including:

• Displaying heart rate information

• Recording heart rate sessions

• Synchronizing heart rate data with Health Connect

• Restoring previously recorded heart rate data

• Providing workout statistics and heart rate zone analysis

• Maintaining a complete history of heart rate activity across compatible health applications

When authorized by the user, Cardiogram may write heart rate data and workout-related information to Health Connect so that the data can be accessed by other applications chosen by the user.

Cardiogram does not sell, rent, share, transfer, or use health data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or analytics purposes.

Health data is stored locally on the user’s device and is only processed to provide the features requested by the user.

Cardiogram does not transfer health data to external servers, cloud services, data brokers, advertisers, or unaffiliated third parties.

Users can revoke Health Connect permissions at any time through Android settings or the Health Connect application.

Data Retention and Deletion

Cardiogram stores heart rate and health data locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts and we do not store your health data on our servers.

Health and fitness data accessed through Health Connect or recorded within Cardiogram is retained on your device until you choose to delete it.

You may delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual records within the app

• Clearing the app’s data through Android settings

• Uninstalling the app from your device

• Removing associated data from Health Connect using Health Connect controls

Because Cardiogram does not store user health data on external servers, deleting the app or its local data permanently removes data stored by Cardiogram from your device.

Data stored in Health Connect remains subject to your Health Connect settings and can be managed or deleted through Health Connect.

Retention Period

Cardiogram retains user data only for as long as necessary to provide the app’s functionality and until the user chooses to delete the data.

Since data is stored locally on the user’s device rather than on Cardiogram servers, the user has direct control over the retention and deletion of their information.
